  14. This is a BETA version of the Bohemian Net browser software.
  15.  
  16. To obtain the latest release of this software free of charge,
  17. highlight the "Bohemian Net Central" entry in the phone book
  18. and click on "Select".  When you call into Bohemian Net
  19. Central, you will be automatically updated if a newer release
  20. than the one you have is available.

  22. Be sure to use the help mechanism included with the program.
  23. Simply press the F1 key whenever you have a question.

  25. Known Bugs:
  26.  
  27. 1. The biggest problem you are likely to run into is in
  28. configuring some modems.  Try one or more of the
  29. initialization strings on the list provided with the
  30. program when you install.  Make sure you have selected
  31. the correct COMM port for your computer, that your modem
  32. is turned on, and that the modem cable is correctly connected.
  33. If you still have a problem, please contact us at the number
  34. above, or by email.

  36. On some rare occassions, the use of an unsupported modem
  37. may cause our server modem to reset. This may result in
  38. a disconnection or erratic program connection behavior. This
  39. problem will be fixed prior to shipping.

  41. 2. On occasion, when calling a bnet or cancelling out of the call 
  42. during registration, you may be left without a "start" button.
  43. Simply exit the program and reenter.
  44.  
  45. 3. Currently the billing and shipping methods may be blanked
  46. after placing an order.
  47.  
  48. 4. Please set a default "Billing method", "Shipping method", and
  49. "Ordered by" in the Account Setup dialog box on the Options
  50. menu after registering your browser.

  52. 5. There is currently an 8 record limit on the number of items
  53. that you can purchase or obtain quotes for. You may make additional
  54. purchases or quotes of 8 records within the same session.
  55.  
  56. 6. On some occassions, the cursor may change to an hour glass
  57. and no activity seems to be taking place. This may be the result
  58. of the cursor not being reset to a pointer. If this occurrs,
  59. please report what portion of the program you were using and
  60. use your mouse just as you would if the cursor were a pointer.
  61. The cursor is probably active and was just not reset to be
  62. a pointer.
